I open my eyes, again
I am still there, unmoved
The same street, crowded
The same people, pieces of jig saw puzzles
The same sky, eclipsed behind tall concrete
The same ground, barely visible between feet
I move slowly, like a herd
I cannot stop or run, I yearn both
I move a little faster, making my space
I want to sprint now, take a leap
I am soon enveloped, into the crowd
I am still there, unmoved
The same street
Sometimes it’s me, stranded in the crowd
Sometimes it’s my words, crawling through the thoughts.
